BILDA is an original modular dolls house that encourages imaginative, open ended play and creativity. It also provides the perfect dwelling for our range of FOLK.
Natural, versatile and limitless, BILDA is a series of handmade birch plywood boxes that can be stacked, rotated and used to build all manner of structures. It is for anybody and everybody, making it the perfect gift for children and adults alike. Inspired by modernist design, our belief is that this is a toy that should never be tidied away as it looks as good on a shelf as it does on the floor.
BILDA is housed inside a wooden presentation box with a sliding lid and side handles. This can be used to keep Bilda stored away when not in use or used as a toy box in the playroom! This re-usable box gives Bilda a wonderful heirloom quality to hand it down from generation to generation.
BILDA is a made up of all 6 versatile modules to which you can add more modules as and when. Included are 6 minimal hand-painted FOLK to start off your collection.
Each box is handmade from birch ply and coated in a matt raw hard wax oil to help maintain appearance and give durability. They can easily be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth. FOLK are sealed but are not waterproof therefore should not get wet.
